Sousa

CCI has sponsored children in the Dominican Republic (DR) since 2017. Working in the north, near Sosúa, we sponsor children in partnership with the Nest of Love, Juan Calvino and Asher schools. The DR is home to roughly 11 million people, and with coffee as the national drink, it has one of the most dynamic economies in Latin America and the Caribbean. Still, many children in the country struggle with poverty, access to healthcare and education, abuse, child labour, and child marriage.
