Gerizim Christian School
Last year, Gerizim Christian School in Chimaltenango, Guatemala, launched its High School Degree in Science and Letters with an orientation in Computer Science. This two-year program includes Chemistry and Biology in the second year, subjects that require hands-on laboratory experience as mandated by the Ministry of Education. Currently, the school lacks a dedicated chemistry lab, limiting students’ ability to meet curriculum standards and fully engage with scientific learning.
To address this gap, the school seeks to establish a fully equipped chemistry laboratory. This facility will not only serve high school students but also benefit younger learners in grades 4 to 6, who will use the lab for age-appropriate experiments aligned with their classroom topics.
