The Dominican Republic - Asher School
In Sosúa, Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic, over 324 students and 36 staff members at a local school are in urgent need of safe, comfortable seating. The Chairs Project aims to repair 60 classroom chairs, ensuring children can begin the school year with the dignity and focus they deserve. Many of the current chairs are broken or unsafe, making it difficult for students to concentrate and learn effectively. By restoring these seats, we’re not just fixing furniture—we’re creating a more welcoming and secure learning environment.
Your support will directly impact the daily lives of hundreds of children. Donate today to help us start the school year strong. Together, we can turn broken chairs into a foundation for brighter futures.
