Building Brighter Tomorrows: Yavins Educational Enhancement Program

Yavins Education Centre in Uganda operates on a very lean budget, making day-to-day functions a strain at times. ChildCare International is helping the school with a general fund designed to meet Yavins most pressing ongoing needs.

These include:

• Support for Students: Books, furniture and other learning resources for all grades, from Kindergarten to Grade 7, are an essential and ongoing need.
• School Infrastructure: Yavins needs to continually improve the school’s infrastructure to make the school an optimal place for learning. This includes building a safe playground and installing solar lights for security.
• Trades/Skills Training Materials: Yavins needs to buy tools and academic learning materials for trades, including carpentry and tailoring. This will involve purchasing sewing machines and other tools to help teach students valuable skills for their future.

Donations to the Yavins Educational Enhancement Program will help ensure children and youth have all the resources they need to learn. Your support will give them the chance to thrive with both education and hands-on training. It will ultimately help them become self-sufficient and succeed in their education and future careers.
