Precious Moments Educational Center in Guatemala is seeking support to fund the salary of one teacher for the new academic year.  The school currently serves 100+ students and relies on seven part-time teachers and two administrative staff members, but extensive monthly operating expenses have made it difficult to fully cover staff costs. The school generally supports itself through various fundraising activities such as garage sales, food and clothing sales, and other small community-driven initiatives. However, income generated from these activities falls short of meeting funding requirements. This project’s objective is to provide a stable salary of C$4,500 to support one teacher for a whole year, to help ensure continuity of instruction and learning support for students. Investing in one dedicated teacher has a multiplying impact, strengthening classroom continuity and improving educational outcomes for more than 100 students.
