With a growing number of students transitioning from primary to secondary education, this secondary school classroom building will help ensure access to quality secondary education for rural students in underserved areas in the Kyotera District.  High school fees, overcrowded classrooms, long travel distances to schools, and inadequate learning facilities in the underfunded school district often result in students dropping out of school. 

The Yavins Education Centre aims to address the lack of access to affordable and nearby secondary schools by establishing a community-based, inclusive, and affordable secondary school with high academic standards for students who want to learn.  The new facility will be a conducive learning environment for 400 students.  The creation of the new secondary school will ensure the continuity of the current sponsorship children to continue their studies at the Education Centre without changing schools.  Please consider this opportunity to give the gift of education that will have a transformative impact on the lives of young people, their families and the future of the country.
