Donate to Disaster Relief Fund for The Philippines

In the past two weeks, The Philippines has endured two devastating typhoons—Typhoon Kalmaegi (local name: Tino) and Super Typhoon Uwan (international name: Fung-Wong):

  • Typhoon Tino hit the central and southern regions on November 4, causing severe flooding and landslides. More than 232 lives were lost, and hundreds of thousands were displaced.
  • Super Typhoon Uwan, the strongest storm to hit The Philippines this year, made landfall on November 9. With winds up to 185 km/h (115 mph), it forced over 1.4 million people to evacuate and damaged thousands of homes, schools, and roads. Entire communities are struggling to recover from back-to-back disasters.

Our local partners have confirmed that CCI sponsored children are safe, and immediate relief is being provided. Our priority is ensuring safety, food, clean water, and temporary shelter for affected families.

Even though our children are safe, many have lost their homes, forcing families to go to evacuation centers, and to wait for access to limited health services. Children are especially vulnerable - facing risks of illness, trauma, and interrupted education. Please pray for the resilience of families as they begin to rebuild.

Giving to our Philippines Disaster Relief Fund, will help provide emergency food packs, clean water, hygiene kits, and safe spaces for children.
